- Attorney:
As an attorney Colm can represent you as no other realtor in terms
of his negotiating skills that have been refined and sharpened by
years of professional practice first as a corporate attorney in commercial
aircraft finance. He has closed $4.5 billion in transactions closed
for companies such as Airbus; GE; US Airways. Later as a rising star
at Pacific Union – the Bay Area brokerage that represented clients
such as Andre Agassi; certain Google founders and sold the most expensive
house ever sold in San Francisco – Colm set his legal acumen
to good use in ensuring that his clients purchases were properly negotiated.

Estate Broker: Qualified as a broker rather than a sales
agent, I have gone the extra mile to gain the most training and knowledge
in my field. That additional effort has been endorsed by my professional
qualification as a broker by California’s Department of Real
Estate. While I believe there are many great sales agents, they nevertheless
require supervision by a broker when the going gets intricate or difficult.

guided by their agents paid too much for problem houses and even more
reprehensibly many agents allowed or indeed suggested their clients
bought with adjustable rate mortgages (“ARM”). Not one
of my clients ever bought with an ARM – they all went with 30
year fixed mortgages on my recommendation. In fact in 2006, I put
out a postcard to prospective clients tackling the warning signs of
a property bubble.

Knowledge: San Francisco has certain well-defined areas that
have held their value even with the downturn. You need to know where
they are and what makes them so stable. I make it my business to know
the neighborhoods where my clients write offers and to guide them
accordingly.
- Understands
Pricing: The amount of your offer needs to be carefully calculated.
Many factors affect a property's value and I will evaluate each with
you in turn when the time comes.
Your agent needs
to be have more than a snappy suit and a leased luxury German car. You
wouldn’t buy your home on the basis of a drive by - nor should
you select your agent without a thorough understanding of his education,
professional skills and abilities, volume of business, local knowledge
